Privacy

Privacy Policy

DAI Wallet is designed for local self-custody. The wallet does not require an account, email address or hosted custody service.

Information we do not collect

DAI Wallet does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, government ID or exchange account. Seed phrases, private keys, address book entries and wallet files are generated and stored locally on your device.

The application does not upload your seed phrase or private keys to DAI Wallet, Sky, MakerDAO or any third party.

Website data

The public website may be served by infrastructure providers that process standard technical logs such as IP address, user agent, request path and timestamp. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention and reliability.

The website does not set analytics cookies by default and does not run behavioral advertising pixels.

Blockchain data

DAI transfers happen on public blockchains. Public addresses, balances, transaction hashes, timestamps and contract interactions can be visible to anyone using a block explorer or node provider.

Non-custodial software cannot make public blockchain activity private. Treat every on-chain transaction as public.

Local wallet data

Wallet data is stored on the device where the application runs. You are responsible for the device, operating system account, passphrase, backups and any software with access to local files.

External links

The site may link to blockchain documentation, source code repositories and protocol resources. Those services are operated by third parties and are governed by their own privacy practices.
